In Romania, we’ve already launched 30+ stores — and we’re just getting started. As we continue to expand rapidly, we are looking for a visionary and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team and help lead our operations to the next level.
Your Impact
As CFO, you will play a critical role in shaping Aurora’s financial future in Romania. You will be responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting the company's continued growth and success in a fast-paced retail environment.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Experience & Expertise
- At least 3 years of experience in a CFO or senior financial leadership role
- Proven success managing financial operations for businesses with €10M+ annual turnover
- Solid understanding of retail industry dynamics
- Prior background in Big4 is a strong advantage
- Hands-on experience with ERP implementation
- Deep knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Strong analytical thinking, high ethical standards, and excellent leadership capabilities
✅ Language Skills
- Fluent English is essential
- Russian is a plus
✅ Process Expertise
- Track record of building financial systems and processes from the ground up
- Familiarity with compliance standards and international financial regulations
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and lead financial strategy aligned with Aurora’s business objectives
- Drive all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ensure cash flow efficiency, working capital optimization, and risk management
- Maintain accurate financial reporting and ensure legal compliance
- Establish and strengthen internal controls and procedures
- Lead relationships with auditors, tax authorities, and banks
- Spearhead ERP integration and process automation
- Support strategic decisions with data-driven insights and financial analysis
- Monitor and improve retail KPIs across stores
- Partner closely with procurement and operations teams to enable scalable, sustainable growth
